Take A Trip is the 2nd track in Vice beats’ on-going series of single releases entitled “Open Return”, presenting artist collaborations from around the world.

Take a trip features Philadelphia based MC Steph Pockets, London based vocalist Ellie Harris and Bristol, Uk based saxophonist Thalassic. Having previously worked with all of the above, this track, which reflects on the freedom of travel and connection, is a smooth and reflective track, seeing Steph explore connection on varying levels with travel as the core focus.

Steph Pockets is a regular collaborator with New Zealand based producer Soulchef, whilst Ellie Harris continues to make waves on the London Jazz and Soul scenes. Ellie and Vice beats recently released “Third Perspective”, a super-soulful EP that enjoyed critical acclaim from the likes of NTS Radio, Spotify’s New Music Friday, being playlisted
in Adidas stores worldwide and being featured on BBC Introducing 3 times over.

“Take A Trip” will be released digitally via HHV Records / EQ Music on 19th February alongside being available on Bandcamp.
