Although the original version was completed within two years, this track actually took until 2014 to create the version you hear now. I started the instrumental aspects in 2007 in Birmingham.

Once the initial track was created, Bass-6 of the Beatbox Collective, who later on became my neighbour, came to record his parts. The beatbox elements sounded so good with the floating melody. I wrote a 16 (I used to MC) and that was the original intro to the song. This verse was removed in 2014 to give the track room to breath.

In 2005 I met Mecca:83, and he introduced me to Futuristica label which is how I also met Replife, and in 2006 met Nanar. He voice has beautiful, timeless quality to it.After about 6 months we began work on “Shining” and by 2007 her vocals were recorded and ready.

During regular sessions with the incredibly talented vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Carvalho, we worked on a lot of music together, including flute and bass for Shining. which brings together all of the other elements and adds a live, warm tone.
