This track brought together some of my favourite
collaborators. Taking 6 months from start to finish, it
started with Donnie Numeric. All of the music we
created at that time began with the intention of
becoming a track for Delegates Of Rhyme (myself &
Donnie), however at this point I had begun the process
of working on an album and this fit that sound more.

Myself, Donnie, Phil and Joe had been working on a lot
of music together for each other’s projects and it was
around this time that we began working with Alex-Is
after meeting him through Tricksta. I’d met Teez (Theo
Part) through youth work and was working with Stay
Hungry to help develop their music. His lyrics, flow and
beats were always on point, and he held his own
alongside Donnie and Alex. Phil was the last to record
which took place at a community studio I ran in Bristol
called Street Soul, with Joe pulling the track together
with the cuts at the end.
