Spanning four cities and two countries, 'Lost Time' is the mellow and dreamy lofi single to come from Vice Beats featuring the soulful vocals of Ellie Harris and the creative lyricism of Kinkai. Bringing his jazz soaked saxophone melodies to elevate the track to a new level, Thalassic provides sonic shifts throughout the track, held together with a dusty spacey drum mix. Written during the first lockdown, 'Lost Time' takes us on a journey through lucid dreams and finds a space within time that allows us to soak in the peace of the track and breathe. With a remix provided by Mecca:38, 'Lost Time' continues to evolve in it's creative journey.

Based in Bristol, Vice Beats is an independent producer, working as a solo artist and as a collaborator with many artists from around the country under his own label imprint - EQ Music. Vice Beats originally started as a poet, winning a national poetry award at 16 years of age through Oxford University. His creativity led him to MCing and eventually music production. Vice Beats turned his whole attention to his solo career in 2015 and has received support from DJ Premier, BBC London, Soho Radio, and Itch FM amongst others. He has collaborated with artists like Blu, Napoleon Da Legend, Pseudo Slang, and Nutty P. His 2020 tribute to J Dilla reworked Miguel Atwood Ferguson's 'Suite For Ma Dukes' in a creative reimagination of the classical versions of Dilla's music, and saw artists from around the world collaborating in honour of Dilla. Using Logic Pro alongside a wide range of instruments, he loves to work alongside musicians, creating live loops and original compositions. In addition to formal releases, he creates music for TV, and has been featured in 80 countries and counting.
